Cristina Palmieri Cristina Palmieri, joined ConferenceDirect in September 2008 as a Global Account Executive. Prior to this, she served as National Sales Manager for the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau for 20 years, where she was a Certified Meeting Planner. During her tenure with the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau, she specialized in the development and management of Corporate, Incentive and Insurance accounts, city-wide Convention Center accounts as well as SMERF market accounts. Cristina’s enduring relationships with clients from the Corporate / Incentive, Association, and SMERF markets, is a testament to her high level of professionalism combined with extensive industry knowledge and her accommodating and detailed work ethic.

Previous to joining the Convention & Visitors Bureau, Cristina was the Director of Sales for two of Atlas Hotels, LLC at the Pacifica Hotel in Culver City, California and the Hanalei Hotel (now the Crowne Plaza) in San Diego. With her extensive experience and commitment in effectively serving her clients, you can be assured that your meeting or convention will be her very highest priority in meeting and exceeding your objectives. Cristina is a U.S. citizen who immigrated from Colombia, South America . She has a global perspective, is multi-lingual and world travelled.
